Q: What is the weather like in June?
A: The average high in Cedar City is in the Mid to upper 70’s with a low in the Low 50’s. Mornings can be cool but it warms up nicely. It’s not uncommon for a day to reach into the 80’s or even stay in the 40’s so be sure to watch the weather.
Q: Will there be a photographer on the course?
A: Yes, we will be providing a photography service. More information will be available as we get closer to the event.
Q: I am interested in the entire series, where can I get more information on the Intermountain Cup?
A: You can get more information directly from the Intermountain Cup website. Be sure to check out all of the races in the series!
Q: I’ve never raced before. Can anyone race?
A: Yes! Mountain bike racing is an extremely social sport and very accepting of beginners. Experience and expensive bikes are not required—Just a mountain bike with knobby tires, a helmet, and you’re in business.
Q: Is the course relatively flat?
A: No! The Battle at Three Peaks runs a 7 mile loop over hilly terrain. You’ll climb, shoot downhill, and slide through corners. It’s like riding a roller coaster on your mountain bike! *Detailed climb information coming soon.
